Part-M & Part-CAMO Specialisation: Advanced CAMO Training
If you are looking for EASA-compliant specialised Part-CAMO training — with the Part-M rules it depends on — that teaches you how to actually run continuing airworthiness, you are in the right place. This is advanced CAMO training for people who already work in continuing airworthiness and need to go further than an overview.
Understanding the regulation is the start; delivering it is the job. This specialisation course takes you from the what and where into the how: how a CAMO builds and controls each process, decision by decision, from the programme basis of an AMP to the moment an ARC is issued.
Part-M & Part-CAMO Specialisation course will guide through the basics of building the AMP (M.A.302) and reliability programme, managing ADs end to end, running the defect and deferral process, controlling records, routing modifications and repairs for Part-21 design review, running a maintenance check flight under the CAME, and conducting the airworthiness review (M.A.901). On the organisation side you operate the CAMO management system (CAMO.A.200), compliance monitoring, the CAME, and the competence and training of CAW and airworthiness-review staff, with the Part-145 interface throughout.
Why Choose This Advanced CAMO Training?
- The “how”, in depth: practitioner-level detail on every core CAMO process, not just rule references.
- Grounded in real practice: “how” waypoints drawn from anonymised, real CAME structures (business aviation, ACMI, airline, seaplane).
- Includes the full familiarisation content: each “how” waypoint plays straight after its related overview.
- The interfaces you actually hit: Part-145 maintenance, Part-21 design, maintenance check flights and authority oversight.
- Assessment & certificate: an application-focused question bank, with a certificate on completion.
Includes the full Familiarisation course, so you never pay for it twice
Before you choose: the Specialisation course contains the entire Part-M & Part-CAMO Familiarisation course. If you enrol here, you do not need to buy the Familiarisation course separately – it’s built in, and each “how” waypoint plays straight after the overview it belongs to.
Only need the overview – the what and where? Choose the shorter Familiarisation course instead.

Where This Course Sits
Specialisation is the third and deepest step, and contains both the free Part-M & Part-CAMO: An Introduction course and the full Part-M & Part-CAMO Familiarisation course, in full.

Target Audience
Built for practising EASA continuing-airworthiness professionals. Scoped to CAMO personnel and airworthiness-review staff, not a Part-66/147 certifying-staff licensing course.
- Primary: CAW staff and ARS, maintenance-programme and reliability controllers, planners and technical-records staff.
- Secondary: nominated/Form 4 post-holders and Compliance-Monitoring Managers, plus Part-145/CAO personnel needing practitioner-level knowledge
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
- How the core Part-M duties are implemented in practice – the AMP and its programme basis, reliability with alert levels and escalation, AD management, defects and deferrals, records, and the M.A.901 airworthiness review – with the relevant AMC and GM.
- How the Part-CAMO organisation operates: the management system and safety framework (CAMO.A.200), compliance monitoring, the CAME (CAMO.A.300), contracted-maintenance control, and competence/training of CAW and ARS staff.
- Where and how the Part-145, Part-21 and Air OPS (MCF) interfaces are managed.
Skill
- Build and control the core CAMO processes: an AMP from its programme basis, a reliability programme with alert levels and escalation, end-to-end AD management, a defect and deferral process, and traceable CAW records.
- Route modifications and repairs that need a Part-21 design review, and set up and run a maintenance check flight procedure under the CAME.
- Order and control contracted maintenance – work packages, work cards, supervision, CRS review and findings.
Competence
- Run the airworthiness review correctly – records review and physical survey – and decide when to recommend versus issue the ARC, evidencing continuing approval with complete, traceable records.
- Operate the CAMO management system in practice: safety policy, hazard/risk register, safety review board, SPIs, and a compliance-monitoring programme that audits CAW and contracted work and closes findings to root cause.
- Manage the competence and training of CAW and airworthiness-review staff -TNA, competency assessment and recurrent training – as required by Part-CAMO.
FAQs
Who should take the Part-M and Part-CAMO Specialisation course?
Practising CAMO continuing-airworthiness and airworthiness-review staff, and the post-holders, Compliance-Monitoring Managers and Part-145/CAO personnel who need practitioner-level knowledge. Competency content is scoped to CAMO and airworthiness-review roles, not Part-66/147 licensing.
Do I need to take the Familiarisation course first?
No. The Specialisation course includes all the familiarisation content, so it stands alone. If you only need an overview or a refresher — the u003cemu003ewhat and whereu003c/emu003e — take the shorter Familiarisation course instead.
What is the difference between Part-M and Part-CAMO?
Part-M (Annex I to Regulation (EU) 1321/2014) sets the technical rules for keeping an aircraft airworthy; Part-CAMO (Annex Vc) sets the rules for the organisation that manages continuing airworthiness. This course teaches how to deliver both.
Is the course current to the latest EASA regulations?
Yes. It is built on the consolidated Regulation (EU) 1321/2014, with AMC and GM sourced from the current EASA ED Decisions, and covers the Part-145, Part-21 and Air OPS (maintenance check flight) interfaces.
