What the Course is About
This course programme is an innovative approach to Nominated Person training in the European Union which will allow the Learner to gain full advantage of the flexibility of digital learning, save time and travel costs, and save money for his or her organisation.
The syllabus for this course programme is designed around a 21st century approach to management theory, with a focus on the challenging and dynamic environment the nominated person expects to face in his or her daily role. The programme is split into 5 areas of expertise:
- Regulatory RAVEN Platform
- Safety RAVEN Platform
- Sustainability RAVEN Platform
- Cost Management Instructor Led Training
- Soft Skill Development Instructor Led Training
In the first section, we start from fundamental basics and explore more in detail relevant European Regulations. In the second area, we review the basic principles of Safety Management Systems. The third area is focused on Environmental Sustainability, but also touches on the concept of the three pronged approach to sustainability (social, economic and environmental). Being an operator’s cost centre, the fourth area focuses on cost management economic theory. Finally we end the course with Self Awareness, Leadership and Change Management skills. The sessions are conducted with highly experienced individuals who will guide the Learner to develop himself/herself in the role.
Skills in all 5 areas are critical to the Nominated Person’s effective management, his/her deportment, safety and the success of his team.
Target Audience
Mid- to Senior-level personnel with considerable experience in their area of expertise (Flight Operations, Crew Training, Ground Operations, Continuing Airworthiness, etc.) who are about to be considered for (or have recently taken) a Nominated Position in the EASA region.
Learning Experience
This RAVEN programme is delivered in Hybrid mode. This means you will immediately be able to start the course programme when you buy it, and start the course at your own pace.
When you complete the required asynchronous courses, you will need to wait for your live sessions, which you can attend in person (in Malta) or virtually. These live sessions are held in the last week of each window.
