What the Course is About
This course programme is an innovative approach to Aviation Auditor training in the EASA region, which will allow the learner to gain full advantage of the flexibility of digital learning, save time and travel costs, and save money for his or her organisation.
The syllabus for this course programme is designed around a 21st century approach to auditing, with a focus on the challenging and dynamic environment the auditor will face in his or her daily role. The programme is split into 5 areas of expertise:
- Regulatory RAVEN Platform
- Safety RAVEN Platform
- The Audit Process Instructor Led Training
- Soft Skill Development Instructor Led Training
- Audit Workshop
In the first section, we start from fundamental basics and explore more in detail relevant European Regulations. In the second area, we review the basic principles of Safety Management Systems. The third area is focused on the audit process – specifically, the audit programme, the audit process, preparing for audits and conducting audits. The 4th area focuses on Self Awareness, Communication and Change Management skills. The final area uses audit workshops where the learners interact with their peers and simulate audits, including drawing findings and writing reports.
The sessions are conducted with highly experienced individuals who will guide the Learner to develop himself/herself in the role.
Mid- to Senior-level personnel with basic experience in their area of expertise (Flight Operations, Crew Training, Ground Operations, Continuing Airworthiness, etc.) who require an initial qualification as aviation auditor.
This RAVEN programme is delivered in Hybrid mode. This means you will immediately be able to start the course programme asynchronously within a 3-month window.
When you complete the required asynchronous courses, you will need to wait for your live sessions, which you can attend in person (in Malta) or virtually. These live sessions are held in the last week of each window.
