The Aircraft Maintenance Programme is the single document that keeps a type airworthy year after year. Get it right and the aircraft is maintained correctly by default; get it wrong and no amount of good hangar work downstream can save you. Yet most continuing-airworthiness engineers inherit an AMP and never learn to build one from first principles. This course fixes that. Grounded in M.A.302 and Appendix I to AMC M.A.302 (Regulation (EU) 1321/2014), it takes you from the legal basis all the way to a compliant, tailored, approved programme — and the reliability programme that keeps it effective.

Across roughly four and a half hours and 10 lessons, you will trace how maintenance logic evolved from hard-time overhaul through MSG-1, MSG-2 and MSG-3; read the source documents (MRBR, MPD, ALS and CMRs); assemble task types and intervals; handle the two areas that trip operators up most — fuel tank safety with CDCCL (CS 25.981) and structures with damage tolerance (CS 25.571, CPCP, SSID, the Limit of Validity); and design a full reliability programme under M.A.302(f), including alert-level mathematics, escalation control, and the bridging check for aircraft transferred between operators. What regulation is the course based on?

Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014 — Part-M, point M.A.302 with AMC & GM and Appendix I to AMC M.A.302 — plus the supporting CS-25, fuel-tank-safety and ageing-aircraft frameworks. Content is kept current to the consolidated Easy Access Rules.

Is the course specific to one aircraft type?

No. It teaches a type-agnostic build method that works for a business jet, an airliner, a turboprop or a helicopter, with worked examples showing the same method tailored to very different aircraft.

Does it cover reliability programmes?

Yes, in depth. A full lesson covers the reliability programme required under M.A.302(f): data collection, alert levels and the underlying mathematics, the reliability control board, corrective action, interval escalation, and small-fleet approaches.

Does it cover CDCCL and fuel tank safety?
